DescriptionBurris Jenkins Jr. Journal-American Disneyland Story Illustration Original Art Group (Journal-American, 1959). In 1959 Burris Jenkins Jr. was sent California by the Journal-American to illustrate an five-article newspaper feature on Disneyland. The highlights include the Captain Nemo submarine ride, the mermaids, the Matterhorn, the Jungle Cruise, the Monorail, and three portraits of Walt Disney. I have the 16 crayon and ink on coquille paper illustrations that range in overall size from 7.5" x 8.5" to 19.5" x 14", and they average Very Good condition.Social/Sharing |
