Description
For some reason this page has always had one of my favorite images of Bane. Nice early appearance of Bane in the post-Knightfall era.

This sick and twisted dream story of the Joker stands out in my memory. Something that would have been perfectly suited to DC's Vertigo imprint (or would be a DC Black Label story these days).

"Strung up and starting to smell."

This is why pages with lettering are so much better.

this is such a great page. it almost has a pre-code horror look/feel to it on all the villains and that shot of Bane hanging. just awesome. congrats!

It's everything he wanted in his dream and he even makes himself the most handsome one.  This fine level of artwork would have been perfect for a Vertigo book if Sandman probed around in Joker's mind.

Memorably, and weirdly beautifully, grotesque!

Rudy's inks are sublime, the story is so twisted, but he brings beauty to this tale of terror.
