Thanks to Hunter for letting this go! I’ve been a fan of Ryan’s work across the entire span of his career, but his contributions to Venom and Absolute Carnage helped to produce some of the most interesting and impressive stories that Marvel has published in the last ten years. Not only does this page perfectly capture the full-throttle thrill ride that became this Absolute Carnage run with Scorpion getting stabbed in a splashy panel and nice shots of Venom and Miles below, but it also displays Ryan’s style so well, which I have always viewed as a modern McFarlane.
