Description
I love this set of pages showing the transformation from Mr. Knight to Moon Knight as the character falls asleep and enters a trippy dream sequence. Perfect set of fantasy pages to showcase Warren Ellis' and Declan Shalvey's storytelling abilities. I had been on the lookout for a nice Shalvey example from Ellis' original Mr. Knight run and this set of pages was too good to pass up. Thanks Yo!

Moon Knight #4
"Sleep"
June 2014

Written by Warren Ellis
Illustrated by Declan Shalvey

From Marvel.com:
"Moon Knight goes somewhere even more messed up than his own mind. Something is happening to the subjects of a sleep experiment that's driving them all insane. Go with Moon Knight to the Mushroom graveyard planet for the most troubling and disturbing issue yet!"

There's always room for shrooms.  Moon Knight brings forth another personality after reaching this high level of conscienceness.

Shalvey's approach to this story and the character is really one of a kind. It makes for an interior that is not only original, but feels otherworldly. Not to mention all those tips :)
