Beautiiful!
So lush with the soft tonal work. Even through it's green on green, the page works with GL being so steely cold as a contrast to nature's warmth!
Love the way the camera moves from the perspective shots to the closeups, to tell you Hal is hunting. Big congrats on the win!
I remember this auction. I, too, was drawn to the incredible art and shading. Glad to see it went to a happy diehard GL home!
