Description

What can I say - a perfect encapsulation of the all-too-short run on Captain America by Roger Stern / John Byrne / Joe Rubinstein. This run, probably more than any other, made me a fan of our WW II hero when I was growing up, with tie-ins to some of the most visually memorable characters and villains, like Dragon Man and Baron Blood.

This cover is pure Byrne from his peak era (albeit 10 years after that memorable run).

Quite thrilled to have this in my collection!

Sweet Byrne wraparound cover! The Byrne anatomy and action are all here. Lots of the rogues gallery is shown and you wonder how the book inside can possibly match what the cover promises!
