Jim does a phenomenal job on this piece - in his mind, the cover to #14 is part of a movie and the next scene shows Superman flying with the backdrop of the exploding Planet Krypton -- notice how the eagle is flying too.

Isn't that a nicely done piece! Can see Jim's influence on Nebres here, which I hadn't noticed before.
