Great tribute to Moore. I've seen commissions, but not an actual cover with him until now.
The bull on Alan Moore's head is an iconic Spanish symbol. It is “Osborne's bull”, the stylized silhouette of a fighting bull. Created in 1956 by graphic designer Manolo Prieto for the spirits company Grupo Osborne, it was originally conceived for use as large roadside billboards to promote Jerez Veterano brandy. The fences are spread throughout Spain, generally located next to roads and on hills, so that they interrupt the horizon and facilitate visibility. Although its original function was advertising, with the passage of time and its cultural roots, the Osborne bull has transcended the limits of the company's commercial brand, becoming a cultural symbol of Spain. Similar bulls, also placed by the Osborne Group, but usually with the Magno brandy name printed on them, exist on Mexican roads.
