I have waited a long time for this one! 12 years to be exact since I first laid eyes upon it! The original owner had commissioned this from Golden only 6 months after the release of the classic Avengers Annual #10, where Golden had drawn Spider Woman within those pages! The owner was inspired by that book to ask Golden for this character. I love this time period of his art, it's what I grew up admiring and was inspired by at an early age! This piece is similar to a Punisher piece by Golden that I own, that both appear to be drawn in ball point pen! No fading or bleeding in these precise lines! I want to thank the previous owner for taking such good care of this piece and I want to thank my good friend Mike who picked this up for me and shipped it to me! You'll never know how much I appreciate you! If anyone has any other vintage sketches by Golden from this time period, please reach out to me! This piece was drawn on 8 1/2 x 11" paper.
