Description
Bishop by Leonardi??? This may be the only time he drew him?? (I actually don’t know that but it sounds good and it is possible lol) really fun piece that comes from an unusual place. A X-men novel from the mid 90s… drawn by a A team of X-men artists Rick Leonardi and Terry Austin! How it came into my possession is unusual too… my buddy Fisch was at a con with me and wandered into it at a comics dealer. Once he showed me , and saw how it was right up my alley he let me take it home!

Rick did a great job on Bishop!  Not bad for a theoritical only time.

Austin brings the best out of Leonardi.  It's 1996, but the image as a whole is very polished and futuristic wile still having Bishop fully enraged!

Leonardi work on the X-Men, during that era, was top shelf. His Colossus is among the very best

awesome image and combination of artists! there's something about when art finds you organically like that versus you finding/seeking the art all the time that keeps the hobby fun and this is one of those gems!

Always thought these spot illustrations were great and this a perfect example. Big gun Bishop for the win!

Love it, man!  I'm right there with you as far as being a Leonardi fan...his stuff's so organic, full of prescence.  No exception here.  Dynamic Bishop shot and dig that background a lot, too!  Congrats!
