Before there was Frank Miller of Marvel and DC fame, there was the Frank Miller (October 2, 1898 – December 3, 1949) who drew Barney Baxter.... interesting coincidence!
Published over 80 years ago, it was a fun aviation and war strip from 1935 to 1950, here appeared the two main characters: Barney Baxter and his loyal friend Gopher Gus.

Signed by Miller.

The hatch and cross hatch textures all by hand!  No shortcuts with how tuned up and finely finished the work is in every panel.
