Description
While I was looking through Albert's portfolios I went through the one that had John Cassaday's art. He recently passed and I had sold the one published piece I had from him so when I saw this piece I decided to pull the trigger on it with the few funds I had readily available. I later attended the John Cassaday panel which was highly emotional. Albert only said a few words and you could tell that he was really fond of John. It is nice to see that even dealers have a heart. About the page I think it is a very meaningful one narrating the origin of the Four when they crossed into the Bleed. Not the series main characters but rather the main antagonists. Very happy to have been able to get something from John, which I had the privilege to meet in California a couple of years ago. He seemed like a very nice person and his legacy will live on with his art.

Nice acquisition and a great story moment. A lot the best pages in Planetary that I've seen, in terms of completed art on a board, are actually ones that don't feature the heroes. I am in no way biased by my own page. Again, excellent example.

Loved the twisted take on the FF in Planetary, and this is a cool page from their origin.  I've been meaning to pick up a Planetary page with the Four, so congrats on the pickup!
