Description

Here is the original art of the complete story consisting of 5 pages of "Tee Time" originally published in PEP #186, or in 1965. This is the first time I have ever owned Large Art as this one clocks in at 13" 19". This is also the opening story of that issue so it is pages 1 to 5, with the first page considered as the opening splash.

Lately, my collecting focus has shifted away from mainstream superhero art because I needed to raise funds for my two kids - having been a first-time father in 2021. My passion is golf and Archie is relatively affordable art - so this is the perfect storm to find something this big, this complete and this old.

While there is no indication in the art that Bob White drew this, this was eventually decipehered by the Archie historians because White was already credited when this story was reprinted in World of Archie Double Digest 122 (2022).

As there is a limit in the images to upload, I just collaged the other pages in another image in the additional images section.

I just updated the scans of the original comic, as well are the interior artwork so they will be bigger.

Worthwhle pursuit to own a story tied to something you love. Just like people like baseball, football, etc. Peanuts strips, this can be enjoyed without s much of an outlay. This shows the game and the humor around it can be enjoyed by different generations.

Congrats on the complete story and nice Bob White vintage Archie artwork! Archie art is fun and still relatively affordable to your point, even for nice vintage examples (not all but most), great additions!
