DescriptionTonight I’m posting two fun Freak Force covers by the talented Victor Bridges, from 1993 and 1994.This one is beautifully inked by Karl Kesel and pits Freak Force against a super team called The Throwaways -- Nuke Rage, Rock Woman, H.U.B.E.R.T. and Wildhair -- in their 1st appearance issue! And you know they're a team because they're all wearing purple ... so, you know ... that's helpful. Social/Sharing |

Very nice! I love any cover with opposing superhero teams (or any kind of team really) approaching each other from opposite sides of the canvas like this, timeless type of cover design regardless of who the characters are really.

I agree, I love this cover design trope too. And hey, it's not just any two teams facing off -- it's Freak Force and The Throwaways! With vastly significant characters like Wildhair and H.U.B.E.R.T. who went on to be instrumental in so many future major and events and story lines ... so ... yeah, there's that.

The wonderful and wavy-locks of Wildhair !!??
Someone needs to give Erik Larsen a nudge to nail down the liscensing opps...Freak Force Cinematic Universe is just endless potential!
