Tonight I’m posting two fun Freak Force covers by the talented Victor Bridges, from 1993 and 1994.

This cover features Mighty Man II, who in this issue is revealed to be ...
Ann Samantha Stevens -- who was an everyday nurse until the day Robert Berman, the original Mighty Man, was brought to the hospital after being stabbed in his human form. Understanding that he was dying, he decided to pass his powers to Ann (mistaking her for his grandson) who became the second Mighty Man and a member of Freak Force.

Never read this, but it holds the distinction of being drawn by the guy I knew as the artist on Phase One Fazers around 1986, who was the very first artist to try apeing John Byrne. Cool cover!

And I thought that R Berman was just a guy who posts on CAF. Back in 1994, did they wonder what bathroom Mighty Man used? I think with his powers, any one he chooses.
