Description
I've had this for a long time but just added a homemade title stat to it to give it a better presentation. The image is very similar to the final cover but the published art is by Luis Dominguez. There is a publisher's stamp on the back so this was an alternative or rejected cover. See additional images for the published version.

Aside from the spelling discrepancy (is the word spelt differently in the Philippines?) I prefer your version of the cover. Classic DeZuñiga.

What's most fun about this is that Luis Dominguez was known asthe guy who drew so many Hex covers duering these early tales in Weird Western, and indeed drew the published cover for this issue. But DeZuñiga is much more associated with Jonah Hex due to all his work in the regular Jonah Hex series that was spawned out of this one, so it's cool that he was the artist on this unpublished version.

Effective in making you want to pick up the book and see what's inside!  Love the ink detail on Hex, and nice job adding that title lettering - agree that it adds to the presentation!  Congrats, Jeff!

The published cover goes for more of a horror tone while this one make it look more personal in revenge with Hex approaching to show the sign to the guy's face.
