Description
This is a biggie for me!

I'm a HUGE fan of Spider-Girl/May Parker, so when I had the chance to grab a page from her very first appearance issue, I went after it with guns a'blazin'.

She first appears in costume in this issue on page 19 with a spectacular splash, which begins a battle between her and the Green Goblin. Spider-Girl is on the defensive for a couple pages (pgs 20 & 21), and then on my page (page 22) she finally connects with a Spidey kick there in the first panel.

The third panel features a great close-up of the Green Goblin readying a pumpkin bomb. This is also the 1st appearance issue of Normie as the Green Goblin.

I also love that last panel where Spider-Girl thwipppps some webbing.

You also get her parents, Peter and MJ, looking on with fear.

So much goin' on !! I couldn't be happier to have this beauty in my collection!

Thanks for looking.

"Hubba-hubba, Paul!!!" Looks like Paul finally gets a decent page to add to his mediocre collection, says his arch nemesis, John-Goblin! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAHAHAHAH!! :)

GREAT ADDITION TO A STELLAR COLLECTION

Curse you, John-Goblin, for evilly fooling me into thinking I had a mediocre collection and then doing a villainous 180 by saying I have a stellar collection!  I'll teach you to send me on an emotional roller coaster ride ... this I vow!  HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHH!!  (Oh sorry man, I know the maniacal laughter is your thing ...)

What if 105 is all you needed to say.  It's a key issue that launched a Spider-Girl and whole universe that came after it.

That's so true!  The whole MC2 Universe essentially began with this historic 1997 issue.  Even predating the Ultimate Universe.

Congrats on this cool history piece, I recall having to spend a good chunk of money for this book years ago.

Haha!  A very clever use of May's nickname.  Yup, I'm so thrilled to own this page, but more importantly, I'm so happy that I can finally correctly pronounce "Sienkiewicz."

Oh wow, I thought it was Cee-en-kee-whiz !!  Haha, just kidding.  I've known the correct pronounciation for a while, this is just the first piece inked by him that I have posted in a long while, and I was proud to be able to pronounce it correctly in my mind as I wrote his name in the credits.

That's a good point.  Those two panels work together really nicely, with Peter and MJ in the middle reacting.

man I really love this, what a great issue of 90s Marvel Comics history and this is an awesome page from it! just a few pages removed from the character's birth!!! Ron Frenz arguably did his best work on the character (love his Spidey stuff too of course) and with Bill S. inking over makes for a really dynamic finished look. Huge congrats Paul!

P.S. - I've got a Ron/Sal B Spider-Girl page in my gallery you might dig.

Hahaha!  I also corrected my reply to your reply.  I had written that I had known the 'spelling' of his name for a while, and of course I meant the 'pronounciation.'  I still don't think I can spell his name correctly my memory.  That's my next goal I guess.
