Description

I was on a Marx Brothers kick when I encountered Gene Colan at San Diego Comic Con 1996. Gene and his wife sat at a table signing autographs. Gene's eyes bothered him so he was reluctant to draw yet another bunch of Dracula sketches. I showed him a book with drawings of the Marx Brothers and asked if he was interested. His wife said no, but he said yes. He'd never drawn them before and thought it would be fun.

Very unique and well orchestrated Colan piece of the Marx Brothers! Harpo harping is a classic skit from a Night at the Opera!
