Description
Unearthly Spectaculars #3 p1 (1967) Bill Draut Title Splash Jack Quick Frost

Picked up this fun silver age title page on eBay last year. Back in the 80's when I managed a comic store, we came across all kinds of old obscure issues, but I can't say I remember ever seeing this one and the character - Jack Quick Frost. It comes from a short-lived Harvey Comics Giant-Size series. I thought it had the feel of the Archie super-hero comics of that time period.

This is so cool (no pun intended).  I have always really liked Harvey comics, but have never seen this book either.  Hang on to this one.  They may not be beating down your door to get it, but I think it's a keeper!

I loved that story, and remember it well. But I have no idea how I managed to get a second hand copy of it back in the day. Draut's figurework is great, and this is a real rarity. Nice pick-up!

That's so cool that this was from a favorite story!  Not enough artwork has survived from bygone years so its always a thrill when we get to see an original page that helps us reexperience past positive memories. Glad posting this provided that for you. And thanks for all the favorable comments you left on my collection today.
