Mark Schultz - Conan - The Phoenix on the Sword, Chapter 1, Second Image - Prelim (Wandering Star & Del Rey, 2002 & 2003)

A gorgeous original art piece by the illustration master, Mark Schultz in his work on the Conan series book. This preliminary is of the second image used in the first story on the book, The Phoenix on the Sword and features an older Conan when he acended to King and dealing with the responsibilities that come along with that position. This work is published in the Mark Schultz Portfolio published by Flesk and featured on page 53 and other art book collections of the artist. Artwork is done in graphite and illustration paper measuring 8"x10" and is in excellent condition. Signed by Mark Schultz in the bottom right margin of the art piece.
