haha very entertaining story, illustrated exceptionally by Lucey as always, from a milestone Archie issue. plenty to love here, nice Bob! 

Funny upbeat story from Harry Lucey and the Archie Team. I love how Lucey finds al these different ways to keep the story visually interesting even though not very much is going on. Basically, it's like a Friends-type sitcom. He keeps changing the POV with every panel and refreshing the backgrounds every page or so. Mostly he alternates between closeups and medium shots with only an occasional wide shot thrown in to break things up. Lucey is technically very good at this and uses a lot of heightened emotions to create drama. Fabulous pick-up, congrats!

Great comment. I agree with everything you said. Lucey was a master of his craft. When also Taken into account his prodigious output (I don't know how many stories he produced every month, most times it was almost certainly several titles) and his longevity (1940s through 1970s) he really is an artist to be admired.
