And the in-laws were just starting to warm up to him.
They're playing checkers, he's playing chess.
Those faces are so wild and expressive, verging on caricature. This may be my favourite looking page of the issue!
I remeber the art being mostly street level and gritty throughout the entire series, but Denys did use caricature when appropriate.
