Description

From around 2005 to 2012, I've always visited Mike in San Diego Comic Con and even bought some art directly from him. I usually made a beeline for his table as soon as I got in the Convention Center because his best pieces would often sell quickly. Anyway, one year I talked him into getting a photo with me. Pretty sure this was in 2009. Mike and his wife Christine were always very gracious, despite the fact that he was in high demand. I even enjoyed talking with their daughter Katie a couple times and got her to sign my Magician and the Snake book along with her dad.

Very cool! Silke, Darrow, Purcell were in the same booth too. He'd have time after the initial frenzy in a 5 day show.
