DescriptionAfter much patience, I finally acquired a Rom page penciled (and inked) by Sal Buscema, page 6 of issue 2. Buscema also signed the page in to bottom-left panel.On this page, Rom is rocketing away from what's left of the Laserium Corp. after taking care of Dire Wraith business. This issue is the first appearance of Steve Jackson, and, if I'm not mistaken, his first appearance in the issue occurs on this page in the bottom two panels. Brandy Clark also appears in the final panel. Social/Sharing |

These early issues with the backstory were so much more exciting than the commercials for the toy itself. Sal added emotion to the story. You can recognize Sal's angry Hulk faces in here!
