Description
A page from my favorite Superman story by my favorite creative team homaging a scene from my favorite Superman movie.

On this page we see Lana and Pete watching as Clark rushes away from Sam Wilson's barber shop where he just discovered that he has x-ray vision and that his hair can snap a pair of barber's sheers in two. Lana comments, "Pete . . . there goes Clark" and Pete replies, "You see, Lana, his own little world"

Jeph often homages scenes from movies and this page echos the early scene from "Superman: The Movie," starring Christopher Reeve. This page immediately calls to mind the scene early in that film where a young Clark is seen running alongside a speeding locomotive and beating it to the railroad crossing by a whisker.

This one will dwell in my permanent collection unless a certain someone manages to collect all the other pages from SFAS.

Even if you don't know the book, you recognize the moment from the movie. So good

That part of the movie is so great and Sale captures that same spirit of Clark not holding back after he got humiliated by the jocks.
