Description

Beautiful finished inks of Steve Mannion’s pirate creation Brownhole Jones. Steve labeled this “Weird Pirate #1 Page 1”, but based on what I’ve read here on CAF, that comic was never completed. This is one of my favorite works of Steve’s, showing his meticulous penwork and his great sense of humor. With an angel on one shoulder, and a devil on the other, Brownhole vows to get that treasure. But poor Brownhole has been “at the powder again”. Is he really doomed? We may never know! See Will K’s gallery for the pencil versions of this.
