In the long debate of who Archie Andrews should be with, I have always been on Team BETTY. Came from what seemed like a humble background. Seemed to like Archie for who he was rather than wanting him because someone else did (like Veronica). On and on. Someone please tell me I'm not the only one!

Having picked up some Archie artwork by Montana, Lucey, and Vigoda... my goal was clear. Find a good example of some BETTY artwork by a different classic Archie artist. Easier said than done. It seems like there are countless pieces featuring Veronica. I finally found a nice 5-page story by Stan Goldberg centered on Betty.

A part of that middle class upbringing, you can see she's a latch key kid without anyone prodding her to hurry up for school.  Pretty nice late 80's good girl style Goldberg.
