Not the biggest Sandman fan, but somehow Sandman #8 is one of my single favorite comic books. Beautiful page.

This page shows a wonderful example of Death's dual persona as an adorable, all-too-human and caring sister trying to help her little brother in a moment of doubt and uncertainty and an actual force of nature with a specific set of responsibilities that she takes very seriously. She's the ideal Dream wishes he could be if only he could change.
Beautifully designed page with well thought out structure and contrasts. Having the first appearance of Death doesn't hurt either. I am glad I got to see it in person. Hopefully it is enjoying Guyana!
This is well drawn. Lets address the elephant in the room. No, not the writer. I have never read Sandman. Some of the art looks nice. I did watch the Adaptation on a streaming sevice though. It did not make me want to read the source material. I did see the original artwork for the very first page appearance of Sandman though. I was more impressed on that occasion by seeing Walther the robot giving Dredd some underwear with his name on it, as it was drawn by Brian Bolland.

Breathtaking page from Sandman. Love the way this page uses the famous Washington Square Arch as its focal point. The smaller figures of Dream and Death are therefore brought into OUR world, not some imaginary world, they are here and, it is implied, are real. Stunning pick-up, congrats!
