DescriptionHere is a commission of Dr. Jones by the inimitable Greg Smallwood, who is one of my favorite artists. Greg rarely takes on commissions, so I was very happy when he agreed to do Indiana Jones for me. I think he did a great job of capturing Harrison Ford’s likeness and giving Indy the weathered charm that carried him through five films. Greg’s use of ink wash is masterful. Smallwood’s style really does harken back to the great magazine illustrators of the 1950s.Social/Sharing |
