fun thematic concept for a sketchbook with movie prompts, and this was a good movie choice for JP's fun style. it does feel sort of like a vintage t-shirt design to your point, and Jaws taking a bite out of the A in JAWS adds to that vibe. nice one
JP is awesome and his simpler designs make for great branding material. Stickers, shirts, posters, coasters, etc. can be made from them with how he distills the subject into its purest form.
This is an awesome addition to your sketchbook! The concept of giving artists a movie prompt and letting them run with it is such a fun way to curate a collection of unique, personal takes on classic films. Cuison’s colorful, energetic take on Jaws is full of personality. When a piece makes you immediately want it on a T-shirt or sticker, you know it’s something special!
