Solomon Kane by the amazing Gary Gianni. Of all REHs characters, Solomon Kane is far and away my favorite, and for me the definitive interpretation of the Puritan's adventures is the 1998 Wandering Star book - The Savage Tales of Solomon Kane. Gianni's incredible illustrations for this project are among the finest in literary fantasy, invoking thoughts of Booth and Coll.

Gianni is a great illustrator of our time. His book illos are like pieces like these that have great compact design to send a concise message about its subject. This encapsulates what we need to know about Solomon Kane.
