Description

In the 1970s DC Comics published Wanted: The World's Most Dangerous Villains, a reprint book that contained 2 or 3 classic stories in every issue of its 9 issue run. Most of the stories were from the 1940s, although a few were from the 50s and 60s. I was mesmerized by the beautiful Nick Cardy covers and as a ten year old learned much of DC Comic's classic history. A couple years ago, I had the idea to do a pinup featuring each of the villains that appeared in that 9 issue run. I had a blast doing it even though I knew that maybe only a hundred people in this world would appreciate it. But it's turned more heads than I expected. I tell people it was a bucket list project. Maybe they relate to that or maybe the sense the passion I put into it. All I know is that I loved doing it and every moment I worked on it was a celebration of the great moments of my childhood.
