DescriptionHere's a page of signed unfinished Buster "Tom Thug" comic artwork by the great Lew Stringer. The page done on Bristol board in pencil measures around 373mm x 478mm. Apparently this was a work in progress after the original finished art Lew Stringer did for a deadline went missing in the post. He had to quickly draw another only for the original to turn up at the publishers to his relief. So he kindly gifted it to me. Thanks Lew! 👏😎Social/Sharing |

Hi Marcus. Yeah, page was a nice surprise included with the two new pages recently uploaded. Interesting backstory too. I'd love to source the original art this was based on and find the comic too. Have to ask Lew Stringer does he still have it? Fascinating to see the bare bones of a strip before the layers are built up to make the final product. Looks hilarious. 😎
