Description
Frank Springer and Don Perlin Conan the Barbarian #231 Story Page 7 (Marvel, 1990). Under the cover of night, as they silently scope the village from the rooftops, Ulas explains -- and even attempts to justify -- why the lotus is so revered, despite its increasingly addictive nature. But Conan isn't here for philosophy; he and Ulas are on a mission to eliminate the drug-dealing brothers, Lythanos and Karmanthes, once and for all. This atmospheric page from "The Burning Tower" is rendered in ink over graphite on Marvel Bristol board, with an image area of 10" x 15.25". Minor smudging, tape over page number paste-up, blue pencil editorial marks, whiteout touch-ups, and light handling wear. In Excellent condition.

Very cool as Springer's style is well known to be heavy.  Perlin smooths out the edges, but keeps the heavy tones.
