DescriptionI bought this fun 3-Panel strip at the very 1st 'Toronto Comic Arts Festival', in 2003..'The BEGUILING' comic-book shop distributed "blank" templates to all of the local artists/illustrators.. And invited them to fill the 3-Panels in, with whatever Continuity they desired to draw. Some turned out nice. Others, not so much.. The idea was to sell ALL of the submitted works, for $20/each. With $15 going towards the artist, and $5 going towards financing future TCAF shows.. I thought it was a fun idea. And submitted a couple of Entries, myself. But was happily surprised, when I found that no one had yet purchased this fun Darwyn Cooke example.. It's a treasured keepsake, as Darwyn was all about finding ways to create Comics that were Kid-Friendly; and bringing New Readers into the Comics medium! Social/Sharing |
