blade runner (1982) poster concept

A poster comp for the Ridley Scott movie that never saw the light of day. It is a combination of printed material, collage, and transparency, all mounted on a crescent illustration board.

The artwork featured here is a printed image cut out and pasted onto the paper, and apparently it's an embellished version of a drawing that the great John Alvin did for the movie (you can see it in his book, but I’ve also attached an image of the original in the additional photos).

This is not an original drawing (I wish XD) but rather a printed copy of that embellished version. It’s still interesting to see, cause as far as I know this embellished version of the Alvin work had never been seen before (However, it's possible that the artist behind the enhancements was not Alvin himself but someone from the studio or an agency. Unfortunately, I have no way of knowing for sure).
