Description

1939 Leif Erikson the Lucky. Chapter vi. Caption-“ now by Thor’s hammer these priests be but meddlers. Only those who meet death in battle may feast with the heroes in Odin’s halls. Remember that boy, last you shiver in dark niffleheim with women and cowards.” This blows me away because of the strong content, in that what the father is teaching his son and Leif's eventual conversion to Christianity. From the former collection of Carl Pugliese.
