Description
My love of the New Gods began with the JLU Animated Series and it kept growing from there. The show opened the door for me and before I knew it, I did a deep dive into the Kirby’s best creation. My friend Jonathan brought this specific page to my attention when Steve Rude opened his commission list around the time I started asking artists for commissions. He cited this page as a specific favorite of his. I was very lucky when Mark thought of me when he decided to sell this page.

I only just recently left a comment on this when Mark owned it. What a lucky duck you are indeed! Just sheer perfection from Rude here - a true one and done example, and it fits your collection pefectly to boot. Congrats!

Very nice to make the page a box of his thoughts for Mister Miracle to escape from.  It's as if to say that he symbolizes something bigger. Sweet glamor shot of Barda to inspire him to escape the death trap.

I love how the art guides your eye through the page. And that's got to be one of the top renditions of Barda ever. I own several copies of this issue - - love it!! Congrats on the page.
