Description

Here's another of our art purchases from this year's Windy City Pulp and Paper Convention. By artist Doug Beekman, it's the cover to "The Drawing of the Dark" by Tim Powers, published by Del Rey in 1979. I remember reading that paperback as a teenager shortly after it was published.

Nice! I love all the impasto helping to create a nice, thick texture on that left wing.
