DescriptionPublished 1988Planets of the 30th Century written by Barbara Kesel and Paul Levitz (consultant) The Dominion and Kathoon The Dominion is populated by the Dominators who once attacked Earth in the 20th Century and continued to be foes of the United Planets in the 30th Century. They finally signed a treaty but violated it later. Kathoon is a world which is in perpetual darkness and heated by an internal power source. It is the home of Night Girl who powers who work in darkness. Night Girl was rejected for membership by he Legion and joined the Legion of Substitute Heroes. Social/Sharing |

The Dominator is cooler looking, but Night Girl is easier on the eyes!

wonder how the pay and benefits are for the Substitutes compared to the full-time members. this Who's Who page pretty much has polar opposites from top to bottom on the 2 characters!

"Night Girl of Kathoon" has a poetic ring to it. Beautiful image of the heroine, who traded in her signature Silver Age beehive hairdo for the classy cut she's sporting here.
