***20 Year Anniversary on CAF*** Transformers: Headmasters #4 Cover

I joined CAF twenty years ago today! For the 10th and 15th anniversaries, I posted a milestone Transformers cover, and this year will be no different!

I have had Frank Springer's finished cover artwork for Transformers: Headmasters #4 in my collection for a little while, but within the past couple weeks, Heritage Auctions listed the preliminary artwork for this very cover. Once I saw that, I had to act to reunite the prelim with the final cover.

Heritage credits Springer for the prelim, but I believe that to be false. Bob Budiansky famously did the layout sketches for the majority of the US Transformers comics during his time on the comic. I've compared the handwriting on this prelim with another prelim I know to be done by Budiansky and they match. So I've given him credit with layouts here.
