Wonder Woman Comes to Riverdale (Dan Parent) - featuring Archie Andrews, Reggie Mantle, Veronica Lodge

It's rare I find someone else's commission that I like enough to purchase, but I saw this Dan Parent piece and LOVED it. Two of my favorite properties, Wonder Woman and Archie, together at last!

Here we have an enthusiastic Wonder Woman teaching the Riverdale High kids about Themyscira. Archie and Reggie are perhaps a bit too into this lesson. Veronica? Not so much!

Purchased this off of eBay sometime in the mid-2010s. Not sure when it was created.

June 2025 update: I found an old letter with some more information on this one, and a few details came back to me! This was purchased in 2013 via an auction for an organization called Reading With Pictures that works to get comics into schools and get schools into comics -- and this picture is very appropriate for that mission!
