An accidental drop of blood has revived an ancient vampire matron in her crypt, but she doesn't seem grateful:

“Come on! What are you waiting for? Get going!”

“I.. she... she got me! Noo! Help! Professor! Help! Aah! Aaaah!”

The shadows are cast by moonlight, not daylight, so Professor Palmieri is not safe yet…
