Description
If it looks like Frank’s having a rough day… he is.

The Punisher: Year One
1994-1995

From Marvel.com:
“ We've known for years about the deaths of Frank Castle's wife and children, but now we see Castle himself mere hours later, when his grief and rage were at their freshest. To the police, he's a lead. To a reporter, he's a story. To the mob, he's just one more loose end. Relive the brutal origin of the Punisher, told in vivid detail by Dan Abnett, Andy Lanning and Dale Eaglesham!”

Pretty awesome! Also awesome that the first panel can be interpreted as "Kick Assh"

Frank's face is like hamburger meat and reflects broiling emotions within.  Modern crime noir and finally Castle's origins can be presented raw!

The hatching on the face does such a great job at conveying damage. Makes for a great interior from a great run.
