Description
"Sigh"

I never read the Scott Pilgrim books until after watching the movie by Edgar Wright, but it was a story that stuck with me over the years (I was also the right demographic for all the pop culture references).  I owned a page years ago but let it go, and I've tried to pick up something from the series ever since.  I've struck out at Scott Pilgrim art drops over the years (if I found something I liked) but finally lucked out last year.

Of all the pieces that were available, this particular image stood out because it's a cute Scott and Ramona moment (which is pretty much what I'm looking for in a Scott Pilgrim piece) with the two of them sitting adorably next to each other on a park bench.  I love how Ramona's nestled in and leaning on Scott (the "Sigh" word balloon is the clincher), while Scott is oblivious to her (as usual) and focused on eating his burger.

But there's more... My favorite set of pages from the whole series is probably the color sequence at the beginning of this volume when the whole gang is hanging out for Julie's birthday.  Not just because they're the only pages in color (in the original release), but because there are some cute Scott and Ramona interactions there.  I decided to flip through this volume again the other day (it's been years since I've read it), and lo and behold, I found a panel with this image of them on a bench in one of the color pages.  It was pretty cool just to have a fun Scott and Ramona scene, but the fact that it's recreated from one of my favorite sequences is an unexpected bonus. So a subtle shout out to my subconscious for remembering this was from a great moment before my conscious mind connected the dots.

Thanks, Felix (and Bryan)!

Great choice! This drop was a bloodbath, and this was one of my tier 1 choices to go after. So glad you got your Scott and Rammy at last!
