Description
Let us now praise Ernie Colon. He was everywhere. He did every kind of comic page. He did Solar for Valliant. He did Droids for Star Comics. There was Richie Rich. There was Amythest. We had Battlestar Galactica and Eerie magazine. He even drew non-fiction work like the 9-11 report. His line changed to fit the assignment, but it was always clear and precise and so damned good. He was the player to be named later, but he always was able to get on base. This is such a fun page. It has such dynamism. We love the super star artists and covet their work. But let us praise the switch hitter artist who always made a damned well drawn page of comics.

Often overlooked 80's animation and toy property!  Boys who liked He-Man gotta love bugs too.  Maybe if they took a comedic tact like the TMNT, they would have stood out from the crowd.  Colon was doing a lot of these merchandising art that translated into the mini comics packaged with action figures.
