Description
Battle Beast is already smashing records — and issue #1 hasn’t even dropped yet! 🔥

I somehow lucked out and scored this jaw-dropping variant cover of Invincible: Battle Beast #1 by none other than the David Finch. It’s labeled as a “prelim,” but let me tell you — there is absolutely nothing preliminary about this beast of a cover. 💥

Sure, a couple of characters got swapped out between this and the final published version, but come on... that doesn't take anything away from the epicness here. This piece is pure fire.

Thrilled to have this bad boy in my collection — and trust me, it’s not going anywhere!

I suppose it would have been published like this if he didn't do a painting of it.  It's a big sell out issue and a great launch of a title!  Putting Invincible on the cover is certainly a plus.

You can't tell it's a prelim if you didn't know! What a great piece. He could have published this version as a cover.
