DescriptionJohn Buscema and Joe Sinnott Splash page 1 from Thor 182, November 1970. The second Thor run from Big John and the first with Joe Sinnot .The first one was inked by Vince Coletta and the difference between the two runs is incredible. As a huge fan of THOR, JB and JS, I am really happy and proud to add this splash to my collection. Tis a most wondrous splash to add to thy collection by portly John and silky Joe, from the halcyon days of yore.

It's Marvel magic from 1970! Big and bold image by John Buscema of Thor perched on the rooftop and looking for the next adventure that will come soon enough. The Sinnott inks are pure Marvel with the refined linework that can convey the softness of Thor's hair to the musclebound roughness of his hands. This is also where Marvel began to make big strides in playing in and expanding the universe while having a lot of fun with their storytelling.

As a huge fan of Thor you have to feel quenched! That is extraordinary! Very classic! An excellent page from the last days of the Silver Age...

The shaky mention of the Doctor makes a dramatic page even more dramatic. Congratulations!

Beautiful splash. Only Big John could deliver that pose in a regal manner. Marvel magic!
