A Day in the Death of a World!
written by Paul Levitz

The Legion cruiser leaves the system as the sun goes nova.
Superboy then explains how they were able to trick the Fatal Five into believing that the sun had already gone nova.
And that he believes the Fatal Five have escaped.

Nice group shot in the last panel. Superboy's cape looks unusually blanket-like in the second panel.

The shot of the Legion Cruiser zooming away from the nova through space is awesome, and that final group shot is absolutely epic. The art and content from this issue is so damn good!
