DescriptionFrom HA: Ogami Itto, the Lone Wolf assassin, stands resolute with his katana over a slain foe amid bamboo shadows and rising sun, evoking quiet dread. His son Daigoro is absent in this draft, but appears at his feet on the finished cover. This preliminary sketch was for the first of seven covers By Mike Ploog for the US reprints.I can't explain how big of a LW&C fan I am. Just to give an idea... I have a bookshelf just for LW&C and related books with all the books from First, all 28 from Dark Horse, the omnis, the Japanese versions, retailer exclusive, board game, two copies of the Gallery Edition, etc. and everything else the creative team did. It's one of my favorite pieces of fiction and set the bar for quality storytelling for me. I'm unbelievably excited to add this piece to my collection. Social/Sharing |

I am a big fan of LW&C and Ploog so that was a match made in heaven (for him to paint those covers).
(you may want to consider the recent French reprints called "edition prestige" that are big high quality oversized hardcovers that have no equivalent anywhere else).

You're amazing with that edition prestige lead. Thank you!

They were not cheap, but there was no way I was passing on oversized LW&C. And you weren't kidding that these have no equal. They're worth every penny imho. Seriously, thank you again!
